Everything you need to know about our USDA organic oils, orders, and what makes Ella & Eden different.
Brand & Certifications
Ella & Eden is a USDA Certified Organic beauty brand offering a curated range of pure carrier oils, essential oils, serums, rose waters, and wellness products. Every product is formulated without synthetic additives, preservatives, or harmful chemicals — just clean, plant-based ingredients you can trust.
Yes. Our products carry USDA Organic certification, which is one of the most rigorous organic standards in the world. This means the ingredients are grown and processed without synthetic pesticides, herbicides, or GMOs. Look for the USDA Organic seal on your product label and packaging.
Yes. Our certifications are available upon request. Please contact our Customer Support for details.
Yes — all Ella & Eden products are 100% cruelty-free and vegan. We never test on animals and use only plant-derived ingredients.
Our oils are cold-pressed and processed under strict quality controls. Specific sourcing details vary by product — for example, our Moroccan Argan Oil is sourced from Morocco, and our Castor Oil uses pure, expeller-pressed Ricinus communis seed oil. All products are bottled and quality-checked in the USA.
Once attached, the pump may need to be unlocked before use. To do this, hold the base of the pump firmly and twist the nozzle clockwise until it pops up.
Castor Oil
Our USDA Organic Castor Oil is available in 4 oz, 16 oz, and 32 oz sizes in standard plastic bottles, as well as a 32 oz option in a premium glass bottle with a pump dispenser. All are available on Amazon.
We offer both! The standard 4 oz, 16 oz, and 32 oz bottles are made from high-quality BPA-free HDPE plastic. We also offer a 32 oz Glass Castor Oil bottle (SKU: EE-OIL-GL-CAS32) with a pump dispenser for customers who prefer glass packaging.
The pump mechanism on our glass castor oil bottle is made from BPA-free plastic components. The pump parts (collar, tube, and actuator) are not glass, but the bottle itself is 100% glass. The pump is designed for thick oils like castor oil and should be primed by pressing several times before first use.
We occasionally update our packaging while retaining the same high-quality formula inside. If your packaging looks different from the Amazon listing photo, it may reflect a recent packaging refresh. The product formula, certifications, and quality remain exactly the same. We apologize for any confusion and are working to keep listing images updated.
Our USDA Organic Castor Oil is a versatile, thick carrier oil popular for promoting hair and eyebrow growth, moisturizing skin, conditioning dry cuticles, and as a natural lash serum. It is rich in ricinoleic acid, which gives it its unique nourishing properties. It can be used alone or blended with lighter oils like Argan or Jojoba.
Yes — castor oil is safe for most skin types and is commonly used as a facial moisturizer and eye area treatment. We recommend doing a patch test first. Those with very oily or acne-prone skin should use sparingly, as castor oil is heavy and occlusive.
Since our castor oil is pure, it has 100% Ricinus.

Rosemary Essential Oil
Our USDA Organic Rosemary Essential Oil is steam-distilled from the flowering tops and leaves of Rosmarinus officinalis — the part of the plant that yields the highest concentration of beneficial compounds including 1,8-cineole and camphor. We do not use only stems.
💡 Support Note: If a customer asks for a certificate of analysis (COA) or GC/MS report, forward the request to your product team.
We strongly recommend diluting Rosemary Essential Oil before applying it to your scalp. As a pure essential oil, it is highly concentrated and can cause skin irritation, redness, or sensitization when used undiluted — especially on sensitive skin or the scalp. Mix 2–3 drops of Rosemary Essential Oil with 1 tablespoon of a carrier oil like our Jojoba Oil or Castor Oil before massaging into the scalp.
Blend 3–5 drops of Rosemary Essential Oil with 1–2 tablespoons of a carrier oil (Castor Oil, Jojoba Oil, or Argan Oil work great). Massage into your scalp for 5–10 minutes, then leave on for at least 30 minutes or overnight before washing. For best results, use 2–3 times per week consistently over several months.
We recommend consulting your healthcare provider before using essential oils during pregnancy. Rosemary oil is generally considered one to avoid in large quantities during pregnancy. Always seek professional medical advice for any health concerns.
Yes. This is available upon request. Please contact our Customer Support for details.
Rose Water
Our USDA Organic Rose Water is available in 4 oz and 8 oz sizes. The 4 oz bottle is a great option for travel, gym bags, or trying the product for the first time. The 8 oz is ideal for everyday home use.
Yes, this is completely normal and actually a sign of quality. Our Rose Water is a true hydrosol made by steam-distilling rose petals. Authentic rose water has a subtle, delicate, and clean floral scent — very different from the synthetic rose fragrance found in perfumes or artificially scented products. If you are expecting a strong perfume-like scent, that would indicate the presence of synthetic fragrance, which we do not use. The gentle, natural scent of pure rose water is what you should expect.
Rose water is incredibly versatile. Use it as a facial toner after cleansing, a setting spray for makeup, a refreshing mist throughout the day, a hair rinse to add shine and reduce frizz, or as a soothing spray for irritated skin. It can also be used in cooking and baking. Spray directly onto skin or apply with a cotton pad.
Our Rose Water is formulated with minimal ingredients and is USDA Organic certified. Please refer to the full ingredient list on the product label or Amazon listing for your specific bottle.
Moroccan Argan Oil
Pure, unrefined Moroccan Argan Oil has a naturally earthy, nutty scent — this is a hallmark of authentic, cold-pressed argan oil. The smell is caused by the natural compounds in the oil, including tocopherols and phenols, and is not a sign of spoilage. Many customers unfamiliar with raw argan oil are surprised by this scent, but it is completely normal. If the oil smells rancid (sharp, paint-like, or acrid) rather than earthy-nutty, please contact us as it may indicate a storage or shelf-life issue.
Our USDA Organic Moroccan Argan Oil is a lightweight, non-greasy oil rich in Vitamin E and essential fatty acids. It is used for hair (frizz control, shine, scalp nourishment), face (anti-aging, moisturizer, under makeup primer), nails, and body. A little goes a long way — start with just 2–3 drops.
Yes. Our Argan Oil is 100% pure, cold-pressed Argania spinosa kernel oil with no additives, fillers, or carrier oils blended in. It is USDA Certified Organic.
Magnesium Oil Spray
We are sorry to hear this! Here are a few things to try: (1) Make sure the nozzle is turned to the open/spray position — twist the spray head counterclockwise to unlock. (2) Prime the pump by pressing firmly several times. (3) Ensure the dip tube inside the bottle is fully submerged — hold the bottle upright. (4) If the spray head is clogged, remove it and rinse with warm water, then reattach. If the issue persists after these steps, please contact us and we will make it right.
Despite its name, Magnesium Oil is not actually an oil — it is a highly concentrated solution of magnesium chloride in water that feels slightly oily on skin. It is applied topically and may be absorbed through the skin. Customers use it for muscle relaxation and soreness, sleep support, leg cramps, and general magnesium supplementation. Spray onto skin, massage in, and leave for 20–30 minutes before rinsing if desired. A tingling sensation is normal for first-time users.
A mild tingling or itching sensation when first applying magnesium oil is completely normal, especially if you have low magnesium levels or sensitive skin. This typically decreases with regular use. If you experience persistent irritation or a rash, discontinue use and consult a healthcare provider.
Jojoba Oil
Technically, jojoba is a liquid wax rather than a true oil — making it unique among carrier oils. It closely mimics the skin's natural sebum, which means it is easily absorbed, non-greasy, and non-comedogenic (unlikely to clog pores). Our USDA Organic Jojoba Oil is cold-pressed from the seeds of the jojoba shrub and is suitable for all skin and hair types, including oily and acne-prone skin.
Absolutely. Jojoba Oil is one of the most popular facial oils because it is lightweight, balances oil production, and absorbs without leaving a greasy residue. It works as a daily moisturizer, makeup remover, and eye area treatment. Apply 2–4 drops to clean skin and massage in gently.
Yes — Jojoba Oil is an excellent carrier oil for diluting essential oils like our Rosemary Essential Oil. Its long shelf life (it does not go rancid easily) makes it ideal for DIY blends and aromatherapy applications. A standard dilution is 2–3% essential oil to carrier oil (about 12–18 drops per ounce of carrier oil).
Other Products
Our Vitamin C Serum is formulated to brighten skin tone, reduce the appearance of dark spots and hyperpigmentation, support collagen production, and provide antioxidant protection. Apply a few drops to clean skin before moisturizer, morning or evening. Vitamin C can make skin more photosensitive, so use SPF during the day.
Our Hair Oil is a nourishing blend designed to strengthen, hydrate, and add shine to hair. It can be used as a pre-shampoo treatment, a finishing serum for frizz control, or a scalp treatment. Apply sparingly to avoid weighing hair down — start with a small amount and adjust.
Pumpkin Seed Oil
Our USDA Organic Pumpkin Seed Oil is rich in zinc, Vitamin E, and essential fatty acids. It is particularly popular for scalp health and supporting hair thickness. It can also be used as a facial oil for its antioxidant properties. Use it as a carrier oil, blend it with other oils, or add to your existing hair care routine.
Add a capful (approximately 1–2 tablespoons) to warm bath water and stir to disperse. Be cautious — oil makes bathtub surfaces slippery. Hold the sides when entering and exiting the tub. Bath oil is for external use only. Do not use if you have broken or irritated skin without consulting a healthcare provider first.
