Organic Jojoba Oil – Cold-Pressed, 100% Pure

Warm two or three drops between your palms and press into clean, damp skin as the last step at night. Damp skin gives the oil something to seal in. If your skin runs dry, a drop under makeup in the morning works too.

On the scalp, part your hair and work a few drops in with your fingertips, then leave it an hour before you wash. Once or twice a week is enough. For cuticles and dry ends, a single drop covers it.

The greasy feeling people associate with facial oils usually comes from heavier seed oils, or from using too much. Start with two drops. If your face still feels slick after five minutes, you've applied more than your skin needs.

They do different jobs. Jojoba is a liquid wax ester whose structure matches human sebum, which makes it the lighter choice and the one to pick if your skin runs oily or acne-prone. Argan is a true oil, richer, higher in oleic acid and vitamin E, and better on dry, normal or mature skin.

If you're buying for hair, argan goes on the ends and jojoba goes on the scalp. Plenty of people own both and use them for those two jobs. Argan rates zero on the comedogenic scale, so it won't block pores either way, but it does sit heavier on the face.
